Tanner's Birthday

We partied HARD this year because someone turned the big 3-0!

Tanner's parents came into town for the weekend and we spent a couple nights up in Sundance. It was heavenly.

When they arrived we ran over to BYU to watch the men play Volleyball- so fun!

Parker "the puppy" was a little tired.

We headed up the snowy mountain and pretty much just went to bed. The next morning I sat in the sauna for a half an hour and took an hour long bath followed by 2 hours of reading. Whew!

Parker laid down next to me while I was reading and took his nap.

We went to Riverwoods and walked around a little bit before eating dinner at Tucanos. We spent lots of time and the Provo Beach Resort playing games, eating, and watching the "surfers" attempt the indoor wave. Some of the guys were actually really good!!!

I'd never really spent too much time at the Provo Beach Resort but I was really impressed. We got Parker $5 worth of games and he came out with 65 tickets and 5 prizes! Not too shabby!!

We enjoyed a little appetizer before Toucanos- what were we thinking???

Tanner and his Dad are big fans of Coke in a glass bottle.

We ate wayyyy too much at Tucanos but that's kind of like the rule, isn't it? Eat until you feel like you're going to explode? It's Tanner favorite and he got a free meal for his birthday! Score!

That night we sang happy birthday to Tanner and had him blow out the candles and make a wish. We watched a movie and cuddled up.

The cottage was really the most perfect place to spend Tanner's birthday. It was so nice spending that one on one time with his parents. We will cherish those memories for a long time!
