Love Is All You Need

We all felt a little tired from our trip to Utah  but luckily we have a wonderful home and comfy beds- a perfect place to relax!
Parker was back to school and soccer, Tanner was back to work. I had piles of laundry and cleaning to do- But we still made time to have fun and play!
We met our good friends, Rachel and Christian and their cute kids, at Downtown Disney for dinner one night. They have been down here visiting from Lincoln and were so sweet to meet us! We ate a delish meal at the Jazz Kitchen! It was so fun catching up with them and walking around the lively Downtown Disney!

I wanted to highlight how much of a princess Rayleigh is. On Labor Day, after she threw all of her left over food down off her high chair tray, Tanner and Bebo got down on their hands and knees to clean it!

Also, one day I could not find her in all the usual places. I looked in the guest room and there she was laying on the bed. I think she likes the "big bed".

We had a crazy monsoon come sweeping across our house- thank you El Nino. But the next day was perfect as usual. My goal is to take the babies to the park after dropping Parker off at school each day. So far it's worked out great! I love these cute, happy faces!

Jack's first time swinging....

I think he likes it!

Here's some mud for you, Mom!

Puddle jumping is always first on the list...

Rayleigh makes a huge mess whenever she plays outside. She'd rather be playing in the dirt than with toys of any kind. So sometimes she requires a quick "sink" bath before she is able to roam indoors again.

Jack is non stop smiles!

My beautiful princess. She loves to climb up on my bed and get into my "things". This happened to be sheet washing day. I will frequently go to put on my glasses at night and find tiny finger smudges all over the lenses.

Still so tiny for his great big crib. But why oh why do they have to grow???

Saturday was busy and fun! We all woke up pretty early and Tanner took Parker to hit some golf balls. Then Parker had soccer pictures! The babies each fell asleep for their naps and we weren't sure if we were going to be able to go to Laguna to see my parents but we decided it was worth it no matter what! So we went and the babies were great! We shopped the Children's Orchard costume sale, too!

Saturday night I took Parker to the Glendale Centre Stage to see Shelley in Guys and Dolls. It was a great night with a cute date. I've been a little snappy with Parker lately so it was nice to be able to have some one on one time with him. Shelley was amazing and the play was fantastic! We sat in the front row and really enjoyed the live action! We each got a drink and a snack at intermission and Parker was the sweetest date to share his Sour Patch Kids with me. Swoon.

Shelley is so talented! I'm so proud of my beautiful cousin!

Sunday was Brody Boy's 2nd birthday so Jon invited the family over for a little celebration. We BBQed burgers, the kids played games, and it was so fun to all be together again! The best part of the whole party was the indestructible pinata that Lau made! We ALL took turns hitting it! Us girls laughed so hard! What a blast! Tanner was the last one to slam into it and the candy exploded out- it was absolutely perfect!

Cort just had his appendix taken out! Sheesh! That family is non stop! Parker made him a "get well" card. Cort is such a hard worker and a fabulous Dad.  I hope he's enjoying his "down time". ;-)

The birthday boy!!!!

Brody had some help blowing out his candles from his 2 older sisters! So sweet!

I literally have the best family in the world. These pictures just make my heart swell. I love them all so much and we really are all best friends- old and young alike! I'm so blessed to live close to them and that our kids are all close in age! It makes for a very rich and fulfilling life!!!
