Ella's One Year Check Up

Ella's "well" check didn't go so well. First of all, we had to wait over an hour to see Annique! The kids were absolutely perfect up until the very end and then they just couldn't sit still any longer. Thankfully, my mom was done with her errands and was able to meet us and take the kids out at just the right time. Poor Ella was diagnosed with a double ear infection and was given 4 shots. But we were given great care and an antibiotic. My sweet 4th child has been more sick in her life than all my other kids combined. She always has a runny nose. She weighs 22 pounds and is 31 inches tall. Big like the rest of my children!
After the doctor, we took the kids to the mall for Build-a-Bear. This year, if your child is having a birthday, you get to purchase a bear for the amount of the birthday age! So, Ella's bear was only $1! Parker used his gift card to Game Stop and bought a ton of Pokemon stuff. We stopped by Sees for some chocolate suckers and then I drove through Wendy's on the way home. Whew!
I have been sick for a while too so we've not been doing as much as we usually would- being out of school. There has been a lot of fort building going on though!
I love these magnificent children of mine and I'm so excited to see how they each do this year in school! And a BIG shout out to my mom for saving the day at the doctor!

Fun ward picnic in the park! Some days I really wish Tanner didn't work 100 hours a week so I didn't have to do life on my own with the kids. But I'm so grateful for wonderful friends and a great ward who supported me and uplift me AND me kiddos!
