Christmas Tree Tour 2024

This year's Christmas Tree Tour was so fun! We started, as we always do, at the Shake Shack and enjoyed cookies and cream shakes down on the beach at Crystal Cove. We walked along the beach and admired the cottages and took a picture next to the first tree- the one right on the sand.

We then drove down to the Montage (my personal favorite) and the kids ran around in the gorgeous sunshine around the big tree outside while Tanner was on the phone accepting his new job. (yay!) We walked around the lobby and took pictures and it was really nice. We went to the Ritz, too, but it wasn't as impressive. No trees and no gingerbread house. But we did drink some yummy hot chocolate.

We did a little annual shopping at the Rainbow outlet and then met up with my parents at Truly Pizza for a late lunch. It was sooooo good and we even ran into Kimmie and her friends! What a pleasant surprise! Cousins in the wild! I love spending time with my parents and it was really nice sharing that time with them.

We went to the San Clemente pier right at sunset and took pictures by the tree at the end of the pier. That is always so cool! It was cold and getting dark so we ran back to the car and then up to Dana Point to visit the Giving Machines. We got a therapy pig and a soccer ball for those who need it. We walked around the harbor lights (a little less this year due to construction) and ran into Jessi! She is feeling much better after her emergency appendectomy last weekend. It was so fun to see her!

We ordered Pizzookies from BJs "to go" and ate in the car before driving home.

It was such a gorgeous day and so fun! I love our traditional Christmas Tree Tour down the coast!
