St. Patrick's Day

We celebrated St. Patty's Day a little early this year since we went to St. George for the air show. We made green mashed potatoes to go with our carrots and parsnips (from our neighbor's garden) and some chicken. And look how pretty our rainbow jello turned out!

Parker was soooo stoked on this jello!

Before we went to bed we set out a trap to catch a leprechaun because they've been running a muck lately looking for the gold at the end of the rainbow. If we catch one we'll get 3 wishes!!!

But...

We didn't catch one. In fact, our little leprechaun made himself right at home and used our toilet!

And spilled our food and tip toed all over the counter trying to be sneaky and steal the glitter off of Parker's trap! (Leprechauns LOVE glitter)

... And, apparently Parker loves America because he wanted to glue this flag sticker all over his trap... I'm thinking I'll have to help him create his trap next year.

The leprechaun left a tiny note on the box that said, " Ha ha! You can't catch me!" Ohhhhh he's sneaky!

But, he must like Parker because he left him some pretty cool green and rainbow and GOLD treats!

Well, there's always next year. I guess the luck of the Irish wasn't with us this year.
