Beach Day

Beach all the time! Just how we like it! Why can't we live here forever?

Since we are so close to the beach we like to pick up dinner and have a picnic on the sand. The waves in San Diego are PERFECT for body boarding. You can't get Parker out of the water even if you tried. He is a fish! And the water is actually pretty warm, which is awesome. Do you know who else is in love with the ocean? Rayleigh! She LOVES the water! Whenever we get to the beach she immediately crawls down to the water. Or she wants to walk down there with me holding her hands (which I can only tolerate for so long before my back starts breaking) We have people comment almost every single time we are at the beach about how fearless she is in the water. Even a pediatrician who was down watching the sunset one night commented how extraordinary she is! What can I say, my kids love the beach.

About once a week we drive up to OC and I spend some time with my family. This day I met my brother at Calafia. It was super crowded but we had a blast anyway! 

Sometimes Parker can bug the crap out of Rayleigh. And all-the-time she is eating sand and getting it EVERYWHERE.

Guess whose birthday is coming up?!?! THIS GUY! We took him to Mexican food one night and he got some birthday flan, which he loved! Earlier that day I'd taken him to Seaworld (just the 2 of us) so we could ride the roller coasters. He was so excited! We got there right when they opened. He got to choose something from the gift shop- a blue dolphins. We rode the Manta twice in a row! He won a free duck at the arcade and got to feed the sea lions and manta rays for free! He even got a free chocolate covered whale rice crispy treat! This kid sure gets lucky on his birthday!
