Parker's Grand Adventure!
We left Utah on the 5th (which was a Saturday) and drove up to Blackfoot. The purpose was to drop Parker off for a fun filled week with his grandparents! We were so happy to be able to spend the afternoon with them and spend the night before taking off the next day. We met Monte and Kim and Rupes for a bite to eat. Gotta have my tots!
Later that day, Monte and Tanner to Parker out to shoot some guns. We knew right then that Parker would have the most epic, grand adventure that week. Kim and Monte pulled out all the stops for Parker!
It was Rayleigh's first time in Idaho! She loved it! She loves grass and so we set her down in it and she was the happiest baby you've ever laid eyes on. Oh man, Idaho is so gorgeous. The wide open spaces and brilliant skies are just breathtaking.
Just a little bitty baby in a big old field of grass.
We left the next morning after saying goodbye to Parker and leaving all sorts of needless instructions for Kim. Oh man, they had things more than covered. First of all, Parker is a good kid. And second of all, HELLO, They've been there done that! Look at Tanner and Travis! We left knowing Parker was going to have the time of his life. And... we were kinda jealous. Not gonna lie.
The drive home was very pleasant. We stopped by Shoshone Falls (the largest waterfall in Idaho) and enjoyed a nice, quiet car ride home. ;-)
We stopped for dinner at Taco Time in Elko! It was quite the highlight! This is Rayleigh blowing bubbles with her lips. She's the cutest.
This was what 99.9% of the drive looked like. It's actually really pretty!
My pretty, pretty princess fell asleep in the car and I wanted to just eat her up.
For the next 5 days Parker played with Grammy and Papa! He rode the motorcycle to the caves, saw a bat, built a fire, shot guns, moved pipe, watched movies, went boating, floated on the tube and knee boarded, went to Uncle Travis' cabin and Island Park, went fishing, slept in a bunk bed, and bonded so much with his grandparents. I think it's safe to say that his little boy dreams all came true. We were able to FaceTime him every day and hear all about his grand adventures. We are so proud of all the cool things he did and were pleased to know that, for the most part, he was pretty well behaved. We missed him so much and were bored without him but we got some good R&R in while he was gone. I don't think Rayleigh knew what was missing until she saw him. She could not stop laughing and touching him! Tanner and I watched Friends and went to dinner a couple of times. Life sure is different when Parker is gone! We are glad he is back and are so thankful for his awesome grandparents!
Even Grammy got on the tube! She is the coolest!
Knee boarding like a pro on his very first time!

Auntie Kaitlin and McCoy went to the cabin too! And McCoy just turned 1!!!
Thanks Travis for letting our little Bug in on the fun at your cabin! And a great, big thank you to Kim and Monte, worlds coolest grandparents for the most epic week every! Parker made memories that will last him a life time and I know he will treasure these days spent with you forever. We love you so much!!!!
