Haaaaaaappy New Year!

I feel like the New Year officially starts tomorrow- like the last 3 days were a magical time warp when anything was possible and the world was ours! The clock struck midnight and we rang in the New Year with a kiss. We stayed up watching family home movies and were so wrapped up in them that suddenly I looked at the time and it was 11:59pm! We rushed to turn on the TV so we could count down and watch the ball drop. We had 30 seconds to spare once we got it all figured out. Parker tried his best to stay awake but he fell asleep on the couch and didn't even wake up when we tickled him and said, "Happy New Year!" We looked in at our other sweet sleeping babies and felt pretty lucky for all we've been given. 2016 will be a great year!
On New Years Day we had big plans to get out and explore! We grabbed smoothies and breakfast sandwiches and then we stopped by my parents for a little visit. After that we got Cafe Rio and ate it at this fabulous new park in Irvine! Then we went to the Discovery Cube and let the kids play in the snow. Ray was too frightened to go down the hill but Parker loved it! We ate Chick Fil A for dinner and let me tell you- being outside for the majority of the day and eating out every meal sure makes you feel like you're on vacation.
On Saturday Tanner took Parker deep sea fishing and then we went to see the new Star Wars with him that night. It was just like the good old days- the 3 musketeers. But, I'll talk about that in the next post.

Ray was not so into the snow- she tried to play with it and was so mad when it hurt her little fingers! And as always, I'm keeping our hands germ free!
