Ella is 3 Months Old!
This week has been kinda crazy fielding Tanner's job offers. We drove down to San Diego to check the commute time and see the building he has been asked to run (temporarily) down there. And we drove to Bakersfield and spent the night there. The Bakersfield offer is very enticing (300k annually, equity, etc.) but would require a move and we are just not ready to do that. The building is also in a sketchy area and I'm not too happy about Tanner working next to a disgusting strip club. The kids were excellent on the drive up there. We actually hit the road at dinner time so we drove through Carl's and ate in the car. Shortly after that the kids all fell asleep probably assuming it was bed time since it was dark. But it made for a very pleasant drive and we were able to talk the whole time. The next day, Tanner had a meeting and then we drove around some pretty spectacular neighborhoods. The jury is still out on what we have decided to do.
But all that aside, it's time we celebrate Ella Bella's 3 month birthday!!!! This girl is pure joy. She is light and goodness and everything that is right with the world. She is calm and pleasant and smiley and tender and soft. She is still tiny so we are busy chunking her up which she thoroughly enjoys. She sleeps through the night, coos and giggles! She has rolled over a few times which makes me mad because she's on strict orders NOT to grow up!
She is the center of our universe and we all adore her! I wish I could wrap her up and keep her tiny forever! We love you Ella Bella!!!!
This is the evolution of my dolls. The first one is a little Madam Alexander doll that I received when I was about 2 years old- my very first dolly. The second is one that I cherished for many years. She was my best dolly and I did everything with her. The 3rd was probably one of my last dolls I received and is super life like. I used to carry her around the neighborhood or push her in my stroller and secretly wish people would think she was real and that I was a really good mom. Dolls were life for me when I was growing up. And then it was babysitting. It's honestly the one thing I LOVED to do, always. Play with dolls and babysit. And now I have my own real life dollies to play with! And Ella is the PERFECT doll!
