It's the MOST Wonderful Time of the Yearrrrr!

This week started off with an impromptu birthday party for little Kimmie. She is 9 years old! We had a pizza party at their house with all the family and then we walked around Dana Point to check out the Happy Harbor Days display. We love Christmas lights! Parker and I were disappointed that we didn't get into the KOST Holiday Kick off Party this year. We cruised down there with our cute sign but got called out by security. I told him to give me a long, sad hug as a last ditch effort to be noticed and get some tickets. Well, we weren't lucky enough to go to the KOST party at CA Adventure but a sweet Cast Member got us into Disneyland where we laughed and played until they closed at midnight! We got Mickey beignets and rode all the big kid rides and just had a really great time together. Disneyland is "our" place. We both love it and we love the one on one time together when we go late at night. We talked about school and were able to work a few things out and set some goals. It was the best. I sure do love my first born!!!!

The girls all dote over baby Ella!

We made a gingerbread train and baked gingerbread cookies! It was not very fun for their dear old mom but the kids had a blast! Now I have to keep them from stealing stale old candy from their creation until we throw it away after Christmas. ha ha

Guess who took this picture? The answer is Jack. He won't snap a picture until I say "cheese!"
We stopped by the Relief Society evening meeting on our way to Disneyland to donate some pajamas to the needy. Our sign was so great! I was so sad that they told us to throw it away. They were so strict! A sweet Christmas story though: We decided to park at DownTown Disney and validate at the movie theater. When we got there, they sweet guy working said he'd stamp our parking for free! But I felt bad so I had Parker choose a snack to pay for. But then the guy let Parker pick out some candy for free! What a nice young man!!!

Disneyland at Christmas time is extra magical! And I feel very blessed to be able to spend such special times with Parker at the happiest place on earth! And grateful for Tanner who watched the babies, including Ella who I'd never left before! I'm really enjoying "unemployed" Tanner!
