Jingle All the Way

I took all 4 kids to a new “kids” dentist and they were great! It’s a fun place and even though it took 2 hours, they kids had fun and no cavities! The dentist suggested we pull Jack’s front tooth that he knocked a few years ago. But I can’t make myself do it! It would change his smile so much! I can’t even cut the kid’s hair! He also said everyone needs to be better about brushing. Oops!
We spent the day baking a ton of cookies for our neighbors and friends- chocolate chip, gingerbread, rice Krispy treats, brownies, and chocolate dipped pretzels! It was a lot of work but we had a good time. My favorite night was our bunco “Favorite Things” Party! We all brought 3 of our favorite things and did an exchange! It was so fun and we had the yummiest food, too! I love these girls so much. They each make my life so much better in their each individual magnificent way!
I purchased a Groupon to Zoomars and we had To cash it out before Christmas. The kids were so excited and had a blast! They loved getting their early and playing with the hungry guiene  pigs and bunnies. Why do they love playing in the corn? I don’t know. It’s so weird and gross. But alas, they love it. We got to pick out our own little Christmas tree and grabbed some Wendy’s on the way home. I love little adventures!
I then took Rayleigh to dance, helped Parker mow the lawn (in true Carole Kendall fashion) took Parker to swim, and then dinner and mutual! Whew!
The next morning was Jack’s preschool Christmas party which was so cute and fun and FULL of sugar.
This is such a busy time of year so it was nice to look forward to Sisters Day!!! It ended up just being Josi and me because Cami had to take Max to the doctor and my mom had to watch her kids and Kari flaked. But Josi and I had so much fun! We went to lunch at Nordies and got our nails done. Then I got a massage! Ahhhh! So awesome. I made sure to be home for Tanner and I to have a date night. We went to Cafe Rio with Jill and Courtney and then to the movies! Our movie broke so we got a refund, a free movie, 4 movie passes, and 2 food vouchers! Score!
Christmas Sunday was beautiful. I was able to sing with a little group and enjoy a wonderful, treat filled Linger Longer after sacrament meeting. We have the BEST ward and it’s so amazing to look around and see so many dear friends. We truly are so blessed.
During this crazy, chaotic time of year it’s nice to take time to reflect back on the wonderous birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I always feel so inadequate and like I’m not doing enough during Christmas time: not enough service, not enough fun, not enough cleaning, not enough reading or snuggle time. Not enough patience and teaching. Not enough baking or presents or exercise! But maybe my kids will look back and remember magical Christmases and a mom who loved them and wanted nothing but the very best for them.
Tanner making fun of me.... but it's actually true and so it's funny!

My son, my 12 year old boy, forgot his shoes to the dentist...
