Jack's 2:1 Baptism Prep Date
We planned a special 2:1 date with Jack after their big Saturday combined MCO rehearsal to plan out his baptism and take some pictures. Jack is so easy to please and he is so decisive. He made planning his baptism program so easy. And the photo shoot could not have gone better! It took less than 30 minutes. He was focused and obedient and we got all the shots we needed (and more) in record time! He is a natural. We took him to Snooze for a special meal. He loves breakfast food and ordered a huge burrito. The server said he would give Jack $100 if his finished it... 5 bites later, he was full. ha ha I am so proud of Jack for his decision to be baptized and know it will be such a special day. Especially because he's being baptized ON his 8th birthday!
After lunch and photos we did a little shopping at Target for a fun treat and then went back to my parent's house where the other kids had been hanging out. They wanted to go to the park so my mom and I went down there with them and after an hour or so, my mom left and I took the kids on a little walk down to the creek. Tanner hasn't been feeling well and is tired (what else is new) so he met us at the end of our park time and tried so hard to be patient while the kids played and I chatted with Ali who happened to stop by the park. (fun surprise for me!)
Sunday was Jack's Great to be 8 meeting during Primary and he is so ready. He knows what Heavenly Father expects of him and he's committed to following Christ.
I love you so much, Jack!
