Turn of Events

This week was going pretty great. At work, everyone is happy and we have the support that we need to get through the day. I took the kids to Disney after school on Wednesday and it was soooo fun. We had such a great time together riding rides and seeing all of the spooky decorations. It's our happy place!
Thursday, we got to MCO early to set up cones and then the kids played with some friends up on the hill and it was nice being outside and enjoying new friends.
Friday we had a lock down drill which is always kinda crazy and I took the kids to Baskin Robbins after school for the fundraiser. Then I ran a couple errands and when I was on my way home, a crazy guy in a tesla cut me off and I realized it was Tanner! I was excited to see him and looking forward to getting ready for our trip but he rolled down his windows and yelled, "I JUST GOT FIRED!"
What?? I had to just laugh because it's so ridiculous.
Here we go again.
But this time, it's not the same. He's going to start his own company! They paid him out so we have lots of cash right now. I know it won't last forever so hopefully we can get something up and running sooner than later. But we always pray for Daddy to make all of the money so we can pay off our debts and help build up the Kingdom of God. So I really feel like this is His way of blessing us.
We also got a call from our attorney that Covey wants to settle. So hopefully we get that wrapped up soon, too and we CAN finally pay off our debts and build up the Kingdom of God.

Friday evening, Tanner had to set his hurt and worry aside and take Rayleigh to a Daddy Daughter Dance. It was a total act of courage for him to do that and Rayleigh looked so beautiful and had such a great time with Tanner.
We are hopeful for this next phase of life and the risk we are taking. The future is bright!
