Christmas Day!

These are in order backwards so I'll start from the bottom. Christmas day was such a breeze! Parker slept in and we didn't look under the tree to see what Santa brought us until 9am! This will probably be the last year that we will be able to sleep in this long! Santa brought Parker a Harley Big Wheel!!! He LOVES it! It lights up and makes sounds and he can't get enough of it! It was so cute to see his little face light up when he ran in to see it on Christmas morning! Good job Santa!
After we looked at the gifts from Santa, Parker went down for a nap and the rest of us, Tanner, me, my mom and Dad, and Jon, Laura and baby Kim, ate a yummy breakfast. We took the rest of the afternoon opening gifts and I was so excited to give Tanner his gift from me, only to be completely disappointed- apparently I dropped the ball. It's hard shopping on a budget but he wasn't too enthusiastic about the top ramen I got for him. Oh well, Tanner got me a gift card to Victoria's Secret and I think he had himself in mind when he purchased it! :-) He got me a few other things and wrote the sweetest cards to me which, really, means the most to me. Oh! And he got me a bike! An exercise bike! I felt cool saying I got a bike for Christmas just like when I was 10 years old! It's perfect for working out at home when Parker's asleep and I'm hoping it will help me with my New Year's resolution to lose 12 pounds! :-)
As the day progressed more family stopped by and Josi, my sister, finally made it home! She was flying to LAX from JFK on Christmas Eve and got stopped in Boston and had to stay there over night all by herself and without her phone! (Which she had accidently left in her car) BUT, we were all jealous and knew my Grandpa was watching down on her when she was able to stay in a super blinged out Hyatt suite over looking Boston Harbor and the city all covered with snow. It wasn't too bad of a Christmas Eve after all! :-)
I danced my anual Santa Baby, something I've been doing since I was in 8th grade. I just lip synch but it's pretty funny! The first year I brought Tanner home for Christmas I sat him in a chair and lip sang it to him and his face was BRIGHT RED the whole time! It was sooo funny!
I am so grateful this Christmas for my wonderful little family. I love my husband and son so much and I can't think of any greater gift in the world than them.

I love your tradition of singing, this is something I need to see. You should have been here to perform at Aunt Evelyn's. The girls sang it and I have it recorded.
Kim is so beautiful, she has gorgeous skin and such a pretty face! Congratulations John and Laura!!!
I'm glad you guys had such a great Christmas. Apparently from your gifts we should be expecting an announcement in no time at all ;)
