Another 5K, another trip to Idaho, another FUN weekend!
We've been having the BEST time going to the river (which is only 10 minutes from home) to throw rocks and enjoy nature! Friday we grabbed a pizza and headed over to my Uncle's cabin and hung out for a while......
We were having a BLAST!
Until Parker fell in the river and got soaked! Poor guy!
Saturday morning I ran a 5k that was sponsored by my clinic. It was the Race For Red to raise awareness for women's heart disease.
This is Kilee and me after the race! I think they said we ran it in 33 minutes but I don't know if that is accurate or not... we were pretty slow...
-Mid race- We were soooo over it!
Pete and Jenn ran too!
These are the girls who work in the office and my boss (yes, that's my boss right there in the middle... she totally smoked us in the race!)

Dr. Mitchell and Dr. McCann- they both received medals for placing in the race! Dr. Mitchell got 1st in his age group!!! Woo hoo! Go heart surgeons!
When I got home from the race Tanner was taking Parker for a ride on his new toy...
Oh boy!
After the race we headed up to Idaho to hang out with Tanner's family and watch his amazing little sister dance her heart out!
On the way...
We tried to get a decent shot of the 3 grand kids.... ummmm, this is the best we could get!
Monte watched Parker so we could REALLY enjoy the dance recital and it was breathtaking! I had chills the WHOLE time! Kassidy really is so beautiful and amazing!
All the girls were crying their eyes out (this was their last show of the year) but Kassidy never goes one minute without a smile on her face! I love her!!!

Sunday we all hung out as a family and had the best dinner in the universe! Kim really knows how to make a meal!!! We celebrated Kaitlin's 19th birthday too!

Playing around- Parker thinks Uncle Travis is the BEST EVER!
Kassidy was showing Parker how to do back flips on the tramp- he ALMOST got it!
Tanner took Parker for a little ride on the lawn mower lol
The boys took the airplanes out for a few minutes of flying...
That is, until Tanner crashed it. Good one Tanner!
Then Parker put on his tough "Idaho" face...
And Papa taught Parker how to shoot a gun! Can't start them too young, huh?
Then we made a little bon fire and made s'mores. YUUUUMMMMM!
It was Parker's first bon fire and s'more. He kept saying, "WOW!" like nothing could be better than fire and marshmallows!
We drove back this morning to a nice, white Utah. Yes, my friends, it snowed here today. And not just a little- a LOT! As in, all the trees on our street broke with the weight of snow and there is still snow on our lawn. I'm trying not to think about it.
