Why are weekend's so short?

Oh man! This week was a doosey and next week will be even more crazy! I have to take Parker to mutual with me because Tanner is in school. But the girls don't seem to mind. They let him participate and it makes me love them even more. They are such awesome girls. I was stuck in a 6 hour surgery on Wednesday night and was late to our activity... that I was in charge of... BUT, they are awesome girls (like I said) and waited patiently for me.

(Here they are helping Parker with the "Modesty Relay Race")

Friday night we watched our little nieces so Travis and Nicole could go to the Ryan Shupe concert at BYU. It was.... really fun! Tanner was all over it! He bathed them and got them all dressed for bed and read Parker and Kaydence stories and even fought me to rock Marley to sleep! It was fun pretending we had 3 kids for 2 hours. :-)

When the kids were in bed Angeluis came over and we had an Inception Party. We are lame and had never seen it in the theater (that happened with Avatar too- I know, we are wayyyyyyy out of it) But it was so good! We made a ton of movie treats and totally enjoyed watching it at home with friends!

Saturday Tanner had a million things to do for school and preparing for Sunday so I told him to leave and not come back until he was done. :-) In a nice way, of course. Parker and I had a full day of Mom/Son dating to do.
First, I took him to my work and then we tried to find Tanner at the hospital (he was volunteering) But we couldn't find him so we grabbed some frozen yogurt at the cafeteria and saw some nurse friends on the 3rd floor. Then we went home for a minute to switch some laundry and get our clothes laid out for Sunday. Then we went to TARGET! (My happy place) We spent wayyyy too much money but I, personally, think it was well worth it. :-)

I desperately needed some new sunglasses. Mine have a severe scratch on them that seriously impedes my vision. I feel like my brain is going to start over compensating for the blind spot and I'm going to have vision problems for the rest of my life. (Dramatic???)

Parker helped me pick some new ones out at Target. He thought these "race care" sun glasses were super cool so I told him to try them on and make a "cool guy" face. Apparently, cool guys are really mean.

After Target we went to Chuck E Cheese since we had a million tokens left over from our last fun adventure there.
Note to self: Don't go to Chuck E Cheese on a Saturday night. Everyone and their Uncle is there for someone's birthday. It was way too crowded. But we still had fun and still earned enough tickets for balloon candy (Airheads...)

Sunday was great. We slept in. Went to church ON TIME! (Lovin' 11 oclock church) I got to hold a baby all through Sunday School! I got to tell the girls in Young Women how Tanner and I met. :-) Tanner gave a great lesson in EQ. I did my VT with the best companion ever. She's seriously the Utah version of Lisa. Love her. And then had a sweet New Beginnings with my girls at the church tonight. Sorry for all you non LDS readers. I'm sure you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. If you want, you should stop by an LDS church next Sunday! It's great! Pick up a Book of Mormon while you're there! :-)

Parker ASKED to go to bed tonight at 6:30. When I came home at 9:00 Tanner was asleep. I guess I'd better hit the hay or I'll be sorry tomorrow morning when the boys are rested and I'm dragging! Hope every one has a great week!

He ASKED to go sleep, I wish some of that would rub off on Kaydence! You guys are the absolute BEST!!! Thank you so much for watching our girls, they loved it. Kaydence was telling me all about how much fun she had with Parker and has been asking to go back ever since, I think they want you to adopt them as well (are you ready for three kids for real ;)
I loved the pictures with Tanner and the girls, he is such a good daddy and such an amazing uncle! I've always thought it would be so cool to work with the young women, Parker doesn't seem to mind it either! He's already gettin in with the ladies, such a ladies man!

So enjoyed this post, Darlin! Your nieces are getting bigger, and are so cute! Of course we love to see Parker, such a personality in that kid!
I love that you invited your readers to church, it is a great way of life, to say the very least.
Love you!
