Upper-Mid 20's

For my 27th birthday I asked Tanner to take me to Vegas, Baby!

We were pretty excited on our drive down!

We left Parker with Andrea and saw "O" at the Bellagio on Friday night.

It was Ahhhhhmazing.

We walked through the garden and stayed to watch the water show, too.

The next morning we grabbed breakfast burritos and ate them in the park while the kids ran around like 2 crazy people. They are best buds! When I asked Parker what his favorite part of Vegas was he said, "playing with baby mason." :-)
They are exactly 2 years apart!

Then we headed down to the strip and went all tourist on the M&M factory. We watched the little 3D movie and Parker/Tanner went ballistic filling up our bag with every kind of M&M you could imagine.

Parker was in Heaven

Andrea and Mason were prudent with their candy..... NOT US!

That there is about a life time supply of chocolate!

We had a blast exploring a kid friendly area of Vegas... and then we stopped and fed the kids french fries and nuggets.

We wanted to show Parker the Bellagio, too, since it's so beautiful and they have a really neat butterfly house right now.

Mason is wondering who the heck this new family is...???

They are both so cute!

I'm kinda obsessed with Mason...

Jeff and Ange were the BEST hosts for my special birthday weekend! We slept so soundly in their comfy guest room and ate like kings!

Seriously, they love each other. :-)

Parker is so his Dad's son.

The night of my birthday we got a babysitter and all 4 of us were able to enjoy a night out together. We went to dinner and a movie and it was perfect. Just what I needed. I AM getting old, ya know. I don't think I could handle any of that "late night dancing down on the strip" business. :-)

Parker was pooped by the end of the weekend. We partied pretty hard! The baby sitter even said that when he got tired he just told them, "I'm kinda tired. I think I'll go to bed" and he just left and went and laid down in his bed!

We ended the weekend by attending our good friends' baby blessing on Sunday. It was a very tender, sweet service and I'm sooooo glad we were able to be there.

Jason, Julianne, and Max

We sure are blessed with some of the most extraordinary friends and family.
27 feels good. I feel like I'm really on my way to being a grown up. :-)
Last year I termed 26 my "year of adventure" and it WAS! We traveled to much and experienced so many new things. It was great.
This year, I'm calling 27 my "Lucky" year. I'm excited to see what it will bring!

Thank you to everyone for making my birthday so memorable and special!!! xoxoxo
