3 Arch Bay
We HAD to have a 3 Arch Bay day sometime this summer and we decided to wait until Jon got back from Argentina so we could all enjoy the day together. My siblings and I grew up on this beach and have so many fond memories. It is a perfect beach for kids- the waves roll in easy and the sand is so clean. The tide pools provide endless amounts of adventure and the sunset is always breathtaking.
We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world and to have this little slice of heaven so easily accessible. Thank you to Muzzie and Papa who lived here and afforded us this luxury. Who needs Hawaii when you have 3 Arch Bay?
Yay! The Bullock's are back!
I felt so proud of Parker this day. He ran down to the water the second we arrived and stayed in there with his cousins the entire time. He and Tavian swam deeper in the water than he ever has before- he was so brave and I was amazed. And he did the EXACT same thing I would do when I would get crashed by a wave. He walked up the beach to me with his eyes closed (guided by Kim)....
Grabbed my towel to get the salt water out of his eyes....
And then ran back down into the water. He loved every second of it!
Taking a little break and talking about the surf. Such little studs.
Parker and Tavian are true surfer dudes. We could not have torn them from the water if we tried! (Which we didn't) By the end of the day they were body surfing and duck diving. I remember loving to swim right past the breakers and enjoying floating over each set that came in. And it was always a special treat when little fishies would swim in between my legs. My Mom would diligently watch me as I did Parker but really, 3 Arch is the best for swimming.
I'm serious! These boys were so brave!!! Shark week!!!! ;-)
When they got tired of surfing in the water they surfed in the sand!
31 weeks!
Just to reiterate how impressively cool my son is, He and Tavian also swam and played with the US Jr. Olympic Water Polo Team! We were so impressed and the boys had a blast with them!
Our cute little athletes. They were so wiped out at the end of the day!
Watching the dolphins...
Jessie and Kimmie- these girls were so stoked to have each other! There are too many boys!!!! We need more girls!!! ;-)
Goodbye 3 Arch Bay! Until next time!!!! xoxoxo
