Grammy and Papa Visit

We were all so happy that Kim and Monte could come visit us in our new home! Not only were they our first visitors but it was their first time meeting Rayleigh! It was so sweet to watch Rayleigh stare straight into her Grammy's eyes when they first met. She looked at her for so long, it was incredible! She snuggled right down with her Papa too. ;-)

Speaking of Papa: Isn't it the best when your father in law LOVES to do projects for you when he comes??? He made us crepes every morning, broke down ALL of our moving boxes which had been thrown in the backyard, took all the boxes to the dump, fixed my car, got parts for my crib and put it all together, and held my baby so I could take a shower! Grammy helped big time with that, too! 

Kim took me to JoAnn's and we picked out fabric for a couple sewing projects. I can't sew and I don't have a machine but my amazing mother in law agreed to help me in all her spare time and sew some things for me!

We went out to dinner and watched a movie. Tanner took them to church while I stayed home with the baby, and we took some pictures for Kassidy's birthday!

It was a wonderful weekend and it was sad to say goodbye. Tanner has 2 of the best parents ever, I'm so blessed to be their daughter in law, and my kids are so lucky to have such loving grandparents!

We were quite the lively bunch!

 We got to Skype with Monte's sister, Sandra, who is serving a mission in the Congo! Wow, some of her stories were unbelievable!

 We took a walk down to the Lincoln Clubhouse one evening. The sunset was so gorgeous!

 Monte looked so special pushing the stroller. He didn't want the baby lying flat in there so he tipped it up. She's still getting used to being in... still prefers arms.  Arms>Stroller
