March Madness

Life is just so great. I just feel like the luckiest lady alive. I know storms come and go but we are really enjoying a bright sun shiney chapter of life right now and I'm gonna soak it all up as much as I can. I love my hard working, handsome, extraordinary husband. He is providing my dream life. I love my 3 perfect kids. They are perfect in my eyes. I love each and every day I get to spend with them. I love how independent, thoughtful, and smart Parker is. I love how friendly, smiley, and spunky Rayleigh is. I love how charming, healthy, and gorgeous Jack is. Every day is an adventure in the best way ending with a beautiful sunset. There is sunshine in my soul!!!!

March has been jam packed full of fun times. We've spent a lot of sunny days outside playing, Ray had her last dance class (which she absolutely loved, even though she never followed directions), and of course we've been doing as many Disney Days as we can fit into our schedule!

Here is a naked Ray helping Daddy make popcorn. She LOVES to help in the kitchen and is always pulling up a chair or a stool to get in on the action!

These kids love to play in the back yard, splash and swim, and get dirty! I love it too.

Literally, my goal every day is to wear them out. My kids are all excellent sleepers and I'm so thankful for that!

Of course, Ray would try to climb on top the car. I'm pretty sure she saw Parker doing this since he can't fit inside of it. Too bad I didn't have my phone to snap a picture that time he tried and got stuck!

I got the kids these bath color drops for Valentine's Day and each time they take a bath I make it a different color. Well, I happend to be taking a shower one day while Ray was in the tub and she found the drops and threw a bunch of them in the water! Gross! The water was black! Silly girl.

Recently, I challenged Parker to read to the babies as part of his daily reading assignment. This gives me warm fuzzies for days. He's seriously such a good big brother.

Tanner stayed home one morning and I asked him if he'd please please please help me go to the grocery store. We came home with so much good food!!!! I had to take pictures of the meals I prepared because they were so good. I loved eating outside while the kids played- that made them even better. But I gotta say, these meals were the bomb. I should go to the store more often. ha ha It's funny how I can haul all my kids to Disneyland by myself without a problem. But thinking of taking them to the grocery store terrifies me!

Tanner volunteered to be a "Watch DOG" (Dad's go to the school and help with security and make sure there's no bullying) at Parker's school and while he was gone I took the babies to Disneyland. Ray loves to feed the ducks! I love love love taking them to Disneyland!

Spring has definitely sprung around here! We always have fun when we meet friends at the park to play! Ray prefers the dirt...

At the end of the week we had a massive rain storm. I thought, "Perfect! Let's go to Disneyland!" It was empty. I picked up Parker from school and we went straight to the park. When we got there the rain had completely stopped and everyone had left. ha ha score! We rode 3 rides we hadn't done before and got Fast Passes for Space Mountain that Tanner and I used later on our date. I took the kids on the rocket ride in Tomorrow land and it was the scariest thing ever. First, they wanted shoes OR socks on each kid. Jack was barefoot because he was in the Britaxi so I frantically put Rays shoes on him and left her in her socks but that meant that she couldn't get her feet dirty so I had to hold them both while we were waiting in line which was so hard! THEN, they wanted Jack OUT of the Britaxi and on my lap so I had to hurry and take him out while trying to hold on to Ray. We had Jack on my lap and then Ray in front of him and Parker was in a rocket behind us. I swear we almost fell out. It was freaky! But the kids had a blast. No pun intended. We did Buzz Lightyear and Casey Jr. and then went to my Mom's. Since my Dad wasn't feeling too well (he had a little cold) they didn't go out for date night and agreed to stay home with the kids while Tanner and I went back to Disneyland for OUR date night! We got the kids fed and asleep and then headed back up to Disneyland for the night! It was perfect! We got Fast Passes to all the rides that had lines and walked on to every other ride! Tanner hadn't been on any rides in so long and it was so fun riding all the "big kid" rides with him! We shared a Corn Dog for dinner while we watched the parade and then shared a hot fudge sundae in front of the castle for dessert at the end of the night. Our last ride was Peter Pan- our favorite. We have a picture standing in line to ride it the night we got engaged. It's kind of become "our" ride. :-) It was a perfect night out and I'm so thankful for my parents for being willing to sit at home with our sleeping babes.

We had Jack practice his 1 year old cake smash a month early with a cup cake. I think he liked it!

The kids have been playing with Easter eggs lately. Translation: I have been picked up plastic Easter egg halves constantly.

Such a helper! She wanted to wear all the different hot pads when I was cooking dinner. She also took out all of the silverware from the drawer! So nice of her! ha ha

And the craziness continues!!!!

One sweet thing I don't want to forget. The Relief Society President asked me to give a message on Visiting Teaching at our annual conference. It was easy and I really enjoyed talking to my ward sisters. But the next day I got the kindest phone call from a sister thanking me for the wonderful talk and giving me all sorts of compliments like what a "remarkable little gal" I was. That sure made me day. Little does she know that I will never ever forget that phone call. I love my ward and I'm so happy to be able to serve in this small way. :-)
