Baby Girl's 20 Week Scan
It took me a while to announce this baby to the world. I waited until she was half way baked. Part of me what scared I would jinx it. Part of me didn't want to hear any "well meaning" negative comments. But I was blown away with so much love and support! People love babies. Babies are innocent and pure and bring such bliss. I am so eternally thankful to be carrying another precious soul. I love her so much already. It's hard to believe that such a tiny human being, not even a pound, can bring so much joy into my life.
I haven't felt her move and kick too much which bothers me. I want to KNOW she's there. But maybe, just maybe she will be a more mellow person???? Tanner couldn't make it to my 20 week appointment which was a huge disappointment for both of us. But my mom was able to come. I had Audrey watch the babies and it was a nice morning kid free and with my mom to keep me company. We had an amazing tech performing my ultrasound. She spent a lot of time documenting the baby's heart and brain anatomy and showing me every single little last perfect part of her. I love ultrasound! After my scan, I met with my doctor and we scheduled my delivery. I love delivery day!!!!! And those first few weeks- ugh, my absolute favorite part of my life. I wish I could do it over and over again!!!!!
My mom wanted to take me to the Shops for a new maternity shirt and Tanner was able to meet us at Nordies for lunch. It was a fabulous morning and I felt so relived to see my baby girl, alive and well! It's a priceless gift to know your children and healthy.
Here are a few pictures of the baby from the outside and the inside. ;-)
