New Years 2019

New Year's Eve started off with a bit of organizing due to the fact that the kids dumped out every box in the playroom and I had to sort through all of their books. It DOES feel good to be a little bit more organized up there, though. I dusted all the shelves too and I'm feeling very spick and span as we roll into 2019.
Jill invited us and a few other friends over for a party. Parker baked brownies which were a huge hit. The kids had fun until they were exhausted. Rayleigh fell asleep on my lap at 8:30. Oddly, Ella and Jack held strong until 9pm. We watched the ball drop with New York and then headed home to bed. We are old. Or young...? Depends on how you look at it, I guess.
Tanner and I snuggled down together to ring in the New Year but neither of us quite lasted until midnight. Tanner had an alarm on his phone that made all of the lights in our house go off in a colorful display which woke us up... "Happy New Yearrrr zzzzz".
It was nice to spend New Years Day together around the house, cleaning and playing games and eating yummy food.
This year our goals are to collect all the bonuses Tanner has earned, use our new gym passes regularly,  study Come Follow Me and the New Testament as a family, and continue to support one another and grow in our love and devotion to each other.
Bring it on 2019!!!!
