SeaWorld...again

When we purchased the SeaWorld tickets for Ella's birthday, I got a 2 for 1 deal. We had to use our second ticket before the end of September and as I looked at the calendar, I realized that this Saturday was the only day that would work! And that was with missing a baby shower and our dear friend, Stacy's funeral in Las Vegas. Stacy lost her battle to colon cancer leaving behind a husband and 4 young children. I think part of Tanner's emotions last week had to do with the news of Stacy's passing. Tanner does not handle death well- he is very sensitive.  And even though her death was not a shock, it was still deeply sorrowful.
But we decided to spend the day as a family at SeaWorld and Tanner was not too happy about it. It was ironic because he had been trying to get my attention all week and when it came down to it and we were sitting directly next to each other for the 2 hour drive down to San Diego, he put in his ear buds and started watching YouTube. Needless to say, we had a talk about that and we were able to connect and the rest of the day turned out super nicely!
We spent about 3 hours at SeaWorld (which is all you really need) and then came home and went swimming. We got the kids to bed and then watched a few shows together and now all is right in the world!

I saw this memory of Ella pop up and told her to close her eyes. ha ha

Then the next day this memory popped up of Jack. My babies!
