Full Days, Full Hearts
We had a super full week of school, gymnastics, dance, Bunco at Lisa's house, swimming lessons, day camp, church meetings, piano, and chores!
The best thing happened this week was that we were finally able to see Della again! It was Leslie Ann's birthday so they had a special High Fitness class which was so fun! Tanner came down and we all got tears in our eyes when we saw Ella and Della flitting around the yard like little fairies. Della had on a cute little nightgown and her pretty blond hair was streaming behind her like a ribbon as she laughed and played. What a miracle. What a transformative blessing! We love her and that family so much! Tanner bought Della, Ella, and Rayleigh each a mermaid necklace to remind them all to stay safe in the water. Ella hasn't taken hers off for one second.
Parker has been working hard all week teaching swimming lessons and on the last day, we had Erika's girls come in the afternoon so we could swim longer and have pizza together. It was so fun and Erika was a HUGE help to me getting Parker organized with his college classes. She's the best!
Parker also had a little "hang out" with some friends on Saturday while Tanner and I snuggle with our littles in our bed for a movie night. I love these teenager years! (And I hope I always do!)
Tanner and I have seen a trend lately of using an app to turn your portrait into an animated character. Don't we look good? ha ha And Rayleigh lost her other front tooth! I can't believe how fast Rayleigh and Jack are growing up. I love that they are both missing their 2 front teeth but it reminds me that they are not so little anymore.
On Friday morning, after staying up way too late the night before with Parker's last MCO rehearsal and going Della's house, the kids were soooo tired and I had to wake them up for school- which I don't like doing. Let sleeping babies sleep, I say! We are ready for a Summer schedule!
We live a good life and I'm so thankful!
