September School and Such
School has been going so well for all of the kids! Parker is getting straight As and has learned the hard lesson of staying on top of his school work and being diligent and self disciplined. Let's hope he keeps it up! We've been going to the gym a few times a week and he's feeling pretty good about life in general.
Rayleigh, Jack, and Ella all love school and I love helping in their classrooms! I applied to by the aid in Ella's kinder class... it has been a process involving a very hard test, too! But hopefully I get the job and can be PAID to be at the school instead of "working" there for free. Every day when I pick them up, they are full of energy and smiles. Ella says, "That was the best day ever!!!". They have lots of friends, are doing well academically, and I'm so proud of all they are accomplishing! School is hard work but they make it look easy and fun!
Super hero day with Super Ella! We made her cape with all the "S" words we could find. This was also the day of the school's 9/11 Memorial Service and it gave me chills over and over. They had some older kids read a very moving statement about our country and how we will never forget that day 21 years ago. They also sang our National Anthem and had the entire school dressed in red, white, and blue to make a giant flag! They invited first responders to show up who were the "flag pole" and they each introduced themselves. Man, am I so grateful for our heroes!!!!
My Mom sent me this picture of beautiful Muz!!! I can't wait to go to St. Charles!
And I finally got my hair done! It looks so good! I also got Botox and I'm whitening my teeth and man, I'm just TRYING to elevate this haggard mom look I've been sporting for a while...
We had a fun pool day IN THE RAIN the other day after school! So fun being with school friends!
Talk like a Pirate day! Isn't our principal the best!?
Our chickens finally laid their first eggs! Woo hoo!
Parker is learning how to braid...
Courtney invited us over to hang out after church. We only stayed for about an hour but it was sooo fun! I miss those randoms times when we'd all hang out!
Tuesday we took Jill out to breakfast for her birthday!
Rayleigh is getting into make up and I'm all about it! I want her to practice as much as she wants to so that when she's older she knows what she's doing (unlike me....)
Skin care!!!
