This is my 7 month old...


Here you have it folks, I'm in for it! This is Parker. He is 7 months old. He refuses to crawl, he only wants to be on 2 legs- but he can't walk... YET. He takes 4 short naps a day... any suggestions on how to get him on 2 long ones? He is the best lil baby in the whole world but I'm afraid I've got a child like me and Tanner were- Hyper Active!!! lol :-)

I was worried when Maddox wasn't crawling at 9 mos(bryanna was crawling at 6 mos), and the pediatrician said some babies just skip the crawling phase and go straight into walking. He crawls now, (started at 10 mos), so I wouldn't worry about Parker. About the naps...I read and followed Babywise, a really good book that helped get both my kids sleeping through the night, napping through the day. It's my bible with an infant! You can pick it up at any book store. Good luck!!! He's such a cutie!!

I agree Baby Wise is the BEST book ever. I could not live without mine. Parker might just want to start Walking, Caleb was the same way he was never into Crawling. He crawled for a month or so then went right to Walking!!! He sure is cute, good luck with the naps :)

Don't ask me about kids and sleep. come to our house and you will see a big lack of naps and general bad sleeping habits! And we've read and tried a hundred different sleep books. Babywise is a good one, worked for Luke but not Harry. I've just come to the conclusion that every baby is different and some just have funky sleep habits. Your little guy is such a cutie. I can't beleive he's already seven whole months!

I hear you! I have the book about Healthy sleep habits, happy baby (it was too thick, so I didn't read the whole thing) but with the naps, some days I have to play tons with my kids and it gets them nice and tired, so they are out for the count when it comes to nap time. Hope you figure something out that works!
