Top 10 Things I LOVED About the Olympics

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2008 Olympic games! Every night Tanner and I would cuddle up to NBC and join the world in witnessing a little friendly competition and fun. I am a little sad that the games are over but Beijing completely out did themselves and I was very impressed with the whole production and so I have gathered the top 10 things I loved about the Olympics. As I was pondering all of the events and moments I enjoyed I found it hard to narrow it all down, but here it goes.

#10 The Chinese Cheerleaders that came out during women's beach volleyball competitions: Did we really need to see MORE women in bikinis? Apparently we did. (According to the men of this world)

#9 The cocky super fast world record holding runners (Referring mostly to Usain Bolt)

#8 Trampoline- a new Olympic Sport. Heck, had I known that tramp would have turned into an Olympic sport I would have set my childhood dreams to win the gold! (Who needs college? College shmollege!)

#7 Synchronized Diving- Couldn't get enough. Mostly of seeing the men take that one last deep breath before a dive and flex their amazingly perfect abs. Niiiiice.

#6 The Opening Ceremonies: These 2008 drummers are amazing!

#5 Men's Gymnastics Floor routine- those little tippie toe skips to the corner of the mat before a huge dismount were so cute! (But let's be honest, these guys are rock solid and super buff!)

#4When there was a replay of a track event in slow motion and you can see the athlete's cheeks (among other things) flapping.

#3 The Office Promos during the Olympic coverage on NBC!

#2 Nastia Liukin's hot pink sparkelie leotard during the women's overall gymnastics competition. She won gold and I think I know why!

#1 Michael Phelps: 'nough said.

So, the Olympics are over. We can all go back to our utterly boring, incomparably unathletic lives. I can't wait for another 4 years to go by to witness the XXX Olympic games! Should be interesting!
