Primary Program

Today was the Primary Program for the Laguna Hills 2nd Ward. I am the song leader and was very nervous about how the children would sound due to their small numbers but they did great! I was so happy! It was like angels were surrounding them and joining in their chorus! They were loud and clear and reverent and sweet! It was perfect! I'm so proud of them! They worked so hard all year to learn these songs and it all paid off today. The spirit was so strong. Something about the purity and innocence of their voices proclaiming the inspiring message of the gospel is too awesome to put into words. The sweetest part for me was to see little Parker's face when the children stood up to sing their songs. Every night this whole year, as I learned a new song each month, I would sing them to him before he went to bed- so he new the songs when he heard them today. I am so grateful for my calling and for all it teaches me and I am thankful for the members that serve in the primary that are super fantastic examples to me!
