Easter

This Easter was beautiful. It was a perfect spring day, the flowers were in full bloom, and the birds were chirping harmoniously! We had a little Easter egg hunt for Parker in the backyard- motherhood starts to become very exciting and entertaining when your child receives a thrill when he realizes the Easter Bunny has visited him. We made a tiny mistake and let Parker eat candy before church- hee hee.

My sister, Josi, and I sang a song in sacrament meeting and, although I was pretty nervous, I think it came across poignantly. I was also asked to lead the congregational hymns in sacrament meeting which left Tanner in charge of Parker duties- and like I said, Parker was on a SLIGHT sugar high. Tanner deserves a GOLD STAR for keeping Parker happy and "reverent" at church. Parker shared a sweet moment with my Dad (Bebo) when he climbed up into his lap and snuggled with him for a while. Parker sure does love his Bebo! :-)

After church the family got together for an Easter FEAST! Ham, cheesey potatoes, green beans, develed eggs, and raspberry jell-o! YUM!

I am grateful that I took the oppertunity yesterady to ponder on the life, death and mircaulous resurrection of my Savior. It saddens me to admit that I don't offer my gratitude to Christ enough for his tremendous sacrifice for me. I am so thankful for the atonement and that through Him I can be made clean and whole and live again with Him someday.
