Who's the Boss, Well Baby Checks, and More Climbing

Parker only has a few days left before school starts again and we are trying to make the most of it! I have mixed feelings about sending him back. I LOVE having him home. I love our adventures. I love his help. And I love my little buddy! But he loves school and is doing so well. So, back to school it is. But not quite yet.
We've been playing some pretty fun games at night and I've got to tell you, I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. The night we played Watch Ya Mouth, I about died laughing. And for some reason I totally dominate at Spot It. So I like playing that one. ha ha

On National Boss Day, Tanner's staff gave him a Nothing Bunt Cake along with a sweet card and a balloon. They really do value and respect him and I know that means the world to him. But, we all know who the REAL boss is around here...

Rayleigh commandeered this balloon and would not let anyone else have it! ha ha She really IS the boss!

With my Mom's help,  I took all 3 kids to the doctor for their flu shots,  Rayleigh's 3 year check up, and Jack's 18 month check up. They are all still healthy and huge. Rayleigh is 33 pounds and 38 inches tall which puts her nicely in the 75th percentile. Jack is 29 pounds and 35 inches tall. Which is off the charts and the average size of a 2.5 year old. The kids were pretty good... Parker fought me hard on getting his flu shot (no flu mist this year) but he finally submitted. My mom kept the kids in the car with a movie, toys, and snacks and I brought each kid in one by one. It worked out really well. We took them to Chick Fil A after we were done to play and eat and we were all happy about that! Whew! Big day!!!!!

On Wednesday I asked Parker if he'd rather go to Disneyland or try out Sender City one more time. He voted for the climbing center which was awesome! We had the place to ourselves and spent the whole hour climbing all over the place!!! The kids did so well! I'm so proud of them! They are way cooler than I'll ever be. Rayleigh dominated and was totally in her element!

On Friday we motivated and headed down to Huntington Beach after Jack woke up from his nap to watch the Air Force Thunderbirds practice for this weekend's air show! It was incredible! Fast jets are truly amazing. Parker was thrilled and the babies thought it was soon cool! I only wish Tanner could have been with us. Next year we'll make sure to spend the day at the beach watching the whole show!

We then headed down to the Montage to watch the sunset. It was an absolutely perfect evening. Warm and beautiful. We all loved playing on the sand and in the water. Jack was being so snuggly and sweet.

I don't know why this little mark is appearing on some of my pictures but it's making me very mad. This shot with Jack is just so sweet!!!!

Parker drew a dolphin in the sand and I think it turned out pretty great!

Ray refused to leave her duck slippers in the car so they made their way all the way down to the beach. She's so silly.

My nature loving child. She loves picking flowers.

We drove through Wendy's and stopped by my parents to eat and take baths before driving home. They were on a date so we didn't get to see them. We tried to be like Ninjas and not leave any trace that we were there. We luckily avoided traffic and everyone right straight to bed. Tanner worked late and I'm strongly looking forward to having him around after survey! I miss my husband!
