Halloween 2017

Halloween was super fun this year! Tanner is in between jobs so we actually got to have him around! We are cursed with not enjoying Tanner's company on Halloween but this year we had him to ourselves! And what fun he was!

I made the kids "Mummy Dogs" for dinner and some good old fashioned Mac n Cheese. I wanted to make them a dinner they would actually eat before they stuffed their faces with candy. We got all ready for Trick or Treating while Tanner installed some spooky lights and got the fog machines set up. We took a few pictures and then it was off to troll the neighborhood! We have such a fun community!

Before we left, Tanner changed into his new dinosaur costume and it was a huge hit! Jack wasn't sure what to think of it at first. But after a few minutes he wouldn't let Dino Tanner leave his side! It was like Jack had a pet dinosaur. People kept asking to take pictures with Tanner and he was super into it. Totally in character!

We ran threw a few streets and loaded our pumpkin pails with candy before heading home to hand out candy. A few minutes before we got home, some punk kids tried to open our front door and set off the alarm. The police were on their way and it was a huge pain in the neck! The alarm was set but somehow the front door didn't get locked and these candy hungry kids thought we were home and holding out on them. Sheesh.

The kids had a blast on Halloween and were definitely on a sugar high for a few days! They keep asking to go Trick or Treating again and we keep hearing about them ringing our neighbors door bell (probably hoping for some more candy). We love Halloween!
