MCO Filming on the Beach

We are still under heavy COVID restrictions so MCO decided to film a Spring/Easter concert like they did for Christmas. It's good timing because Tanner hasn't started his new job yet and he's able to help out and participate a lot more. He took Parker down early on Monday morning (like 6am) and they spent the entire day on the beach in San Clemente. Tanner was well prepared with an E-Z Up, a tent, and a cooler full of drinks and snacks. And, ever the Eagle Scout, he was able to pull a miraculous stunt when the videoagrapher tragically lost his drone in the ocean and Tanner was able to provide the use of HIS! The kids had school in the morning followed by their science/preschool class at Ms. Erika's. But Tanner said they would need a scuba diver to look for the drone that went down and I said, "Aren't YOU a scuba diver?" So, when I came down with the kids, I brought all of Tanner's scuba equipment too. It was a battle getting out past the breakers and when he finally made it, there was practically zero visibility. Such a bummer that the professional who was hired to film the concert lost his drone AND all of the footage not only from San Clemente, but Utah as well! Tanner was certainly an answer to prayer and the show was able to go on because of Tanner.

The kids had a blast playing on the beach and the music was a balm to our souls. It was fun to be down there participating, even from the side lines. We stayed until the beautiful sunset and then cruised through Wendy's on our way home.

Tanner took Parker back down the next day when the filmed the orchestra and they were able to help out a ton then, too. Parker was SO tired. ha ha Poor guy. They both LOVE Millennial Choir and I'm so happy that this faithful, magnificent music fills our minds and home!
