Hiking with Friends and my COVID Vaccine!

Whew! I feel like I have SO MUCH TO DO! We got home from St. George, went to the temple!, the kids missed their last few days of school and have assignments yet to do, laundry, cleaning, planning for the month... It's overwhelming! But church was great- testimony meeting, and the Elders (Hill and Sheets) taught the Primary ZOOM lesson. 3 times this week in totally different situations I've heard the quote, "If the devil can't make you bad, he'll make you busy." And boy, is that the truth. Do you think the spirit is trying to tell me something?
Well, you know me, Chan the Plan, and how my favorite scripture is all about establishing a house of order? I sat down on Sunday and mapped out the month and set some intentions and now I feel better.
On Monday, Tanner started his new job with North American! Woo Hoo! So far, so good! He's anxious to get into a building and start cranking!
Erika, Jill, and I took the kids hiking in Oak Canyon and it was so fun! It's finally warming up and the weather was perfect. The kids had a blast playing together (except when Reed threw Jack's stick into some poison oak- RUDE! Made him cry...) and when the little kids were asking each other "Who's your crush?" Man, I that lit a flame and I yelled at those kids to stop. Ugh! I do NOT like when they talk about stuff like that! I feel like no matter what the answer is, you're going to get bullied!
Anyhoo, Tanner came home early and was able to go with me to get my COVID shot! Hallelujah! It didn't hurt a bit and I feel fine. I clocked out, took a nice long bath, and enjoyed some R&R while Tanner swam with the kids and got them to bed.
I'm hoping life is getting back to normal, little by little.
April is going to be a fun month!
