October Ovations

Parker was forced into the "Friend Zone" by Sydney on Thursday night and he has been sooooo sad. He wouldn't eat anything all day on Friday, even the ice cream I brought him! He was curled up under a blanket all day until Friday evening when he rode the ebike to Kaelyn's house. His spirits perked up there and he ate a little pizza... but the poor guy. He is heart broken.

On Saturday, after the girls did a little make up dance class, we went down to the beach and the kids and I played while Tanner and Parker set up the "new" iphone for Parker. Tanner got a new phone so we are finally allowing Parker an iPhone and he's thrilled! Or as thrilled as a heart broken 15 year old boy can muster.  We stopped by Costco for some food court feasting and to pick up a cart full of pumpkins. When we walked in, I heard "HEY CHAN!" It was Mike Cooper! He had his 5 cute kids in tow and they were negotiating the purchase of the floor model of the Grim Reaper. It was hilarious watching him bring it out to his car. He's such a good guy and it made my day seeing him. We need to hang out with them more!

When we got home, we painted the pumpkins and sat in the hot tub and that night, the kids all snuggled up next to me to read Harry Potter. They all ended up falling asleep which is so sweet. It was a great, October day and we are loving all of the festive Fall fun!
