September Stuff

Life is BUSY.
Ray has been loving going to Alaina's house and went over there almost every day one week. They make bracelets and sing and giggle. I think they are wanting to do homework together so that would be good. It is an answer to so many tear filled prayers for Ray to be blessed with these 2 sweet friends and I'm so very grateful she is so happy and thriving in 6th grade.
She's also really enjoying her volunteer work at the animal shelter and I'm so proud of her for perusing her passions and cultivating her gift of compassion. Jack is doing great with piano lesson and practicing the trombone with the Rondo band. It's fun to wait for him outside the band door after I drop my kinders off at lunch twice a week and grab his instrument from him so he doesn't have to walk all the way to the car with it after school.
We had a rainy day! Woo hoo! And fun times at school like Talk Like a Pirate Day when Dr. D came in and read a pirate book to my class, science experiments and art lessons in Ella's class (always fun helping in her class on Wednesday afternoons), and Day of Awesomeness. They were able to play on a bunch of inflatables and have music and games out on the field at the commencement of their fund raiser.

Tanner was invited to the Kelly Slater Surf Ranch and surfed with some incredible people like the President of BYU Hawaii and other industry peers. He had a blast and was on a high from that experience for a few days. I hosted the Rondo Moms for Shannon's birthday. We each brought a dish to share and exchanged favorite things gifts with each other. We ended the night sitting in the hot tub and it was a super fun night!

Jack and Ella are both doing really well in soccer- Ella is loving it and Jack is improving each day.  I'm proud of them for having good attitudes and enjoying being on a team. It gets us out of the house a few nights a week and Saturday games are fun and exciting.
Jack went to Top Golf with Noah Z to celebrate his birthday and had a blast! Ray went to the temple to do baptisms with the ward and loved it. Parker has been spending every weekend with my parents and hanging out with cousins. He's working hard with Tanner and working once a week in the temple. He's excited for MCO to start and is busy preparing for his mission.

We are experiencing a busy season of life but I am excited to attend my Women's Retreat and reset for a cozy Fall season.
