Opening Day of Baseball
We had a super fun day! We woke up and got ready for Parker's Opening Day of Baseball! He was so excited and kept telling everyone how thrilled he was to walk in a parade. We arrived with the throngs of baseball players and searched for his team. After a lot of looking we found them and Parker lined up to walk on the field with his friends! They had a raffle and we didn't win anything, per the usual.
After the ceremony we left and ate breakfast at Awful Annie's then returned to the baseball fields and enjoyed an afternoon in the sun! They had set up a few bounce houses and a couple of Parker's friends were there so he ran off with them while we pitched ourselves in the shade of a tree. The freshly cut grass was so green and smelled so good. The sunshine was warm and felt so nice on our backs. As we sat talking we discussed what to do with our Allegiant Air flight vouchers and decided to offer them to Tanner's parents. Before we could even complete the sentence Tanner was on the phone with his Mom. She in turn called Monte who was stoked on the idea and then called Kaitlin and invited her too. Within a few short hours everyone had the ok to take time off work and the flights were booked! And the best part is that they are coming in a week!
It's hard to beat playing outside all day. Parker looked so cute in his baseball uniform and we were such proud parents!
Later that day we sat out on the porch and watched Parker ride his bike and searched for hotels in San Francisco.
We've continued offering Rayleigh more solid food. She's not too thrilled about it.
Here I am eating a Hoggin Das ice cream bar while feeding the baby carrots. It's not really fair, is it?
