HO HO HO! NO NO NO!

Last week was kinda rough with the whole hepatitis fiasco. But we did manage to squeeze in some fun time and make some awesome memories.

My snuggly kids. Every day when Parker gets home from school we eat a snack, do home work, and then work on a craft and watch a Christmas movie. We've just gotten into the groove somehow and it's delightful. Parker is such a light in my life. He proves to me over and over each and every day what an amazing person he is. I don't know how I got so lucky but it sure is humbling.

Friday night was Tanner's work party at this super awesome Mexican restaurant. They had a DJ and gave out 60 gifts to the staff! Tanner was on fire- such a rock star! He is doing so great at his job and I can tell they really like him there. (I won't say "love" yet because it's too soon for those types of emotions ha ha) The DJ was fabulous. When Tanner got the mic and was getting everyone pumped up for gift giving the DJ turned on "Play That Funky Music, White Boy"! It was hilarious! Tanner is like the only white guy at his building! ha ha Parker and I ate 3 bowls of chips before we finally ate dinner. I was worried about how the baby would do but she did great. Tanner loved showing her off and was so great to take her around the room and let her shine. Meanwhile, I hung out in the corner. We couldn't find a babysitter so we were stressed about having to bring them but it ended up being so perfect.

Towards the end Rayleigh was getting SO tired. And when the music was loud she would cover her ears. Wonder where she gets that from (*cough* Bebo *cough*)

We all slept in the next morning. But we all woke up super dee duper happy! We ran some errands, went to our favorite lunch/shopping desination- Ikea!, and cruised down south to Kim's 6th birthday party. We were late so we missed seeing Josi and Cami but Kari was there and my Mom and Dad and it was nice being there after all the crazy party guests had left. Jon rented a huge blow up bounce house/slide. Parker loves spending time with his cousins and it's such a blessing to be close enough to family that we can just pop in on these special occasions.

We had to take off, though, because it was our ward's Christmas party that night! Ham dinner, great primary program, fun games, and we got to know some really cool people! The kids had a blast. That is until Santa came. Just kidding, they were thrilled but Rayleigh was so tired and not really feeling like she wanted to sit on that fat man's lap. Actually, this helper of Santa's is also the one who visits Disneyland during the holidays. He was awesome! I should have told Parker to ask for a ticket to Disneyland! Doh!!!!

Parker wants a Wii Skylander's Swap Team. And Rayliehg wants a play kitchen.

We are all ready for our guests to arrive! First up: Angeluis!!!!!!!!!

We had a very relaxing day on Sunday. Just church and then home all day. That hasn't happened in a while. Actually, Kari was going to come over so we could take her family picture and she could see our  new home but she couldn't make it. So we snuggled in and had a nice day. We turned on the TV and there was a cute family ice skating special on. There were a lot of "Frozen" themed performances and Rayleigh loved it! We made hot chocolate and watched a movie. It was the best.

21 weeks!

And here is Parker's fanbulous gingerbread house. He used left over Halloween candy. Can you tell? ha ha He bugged me to get started on it for days and days and finally it was time to bust it out. He loved working on it. He's such a cute little guy.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Life is good!
