Huntington Beach Air Show

The 2nd annual Huntington beach air show was awesome! I brought the kids the day before to beat the crowds and watch the practice show but after the hour long SUNNY drive down there, we found the beach to be completely sopped in with fog and no jets flying. Total. Bummer.

But luckily we were able to have Tanner join us on Saturday! It was super crowded but we lucked out with the PERFECT parking spot and a great (non crowded) spot to sit on the beach. We packed a lunch and sat on the sand and enjoyed the brilliance of these incredible air craft! I have a soft spot for the Blue Angels because our neighbor growing up, Tim Murphy, was a Blue Angel's pilot. Plus all the years of watching the El Toro Marine Base jets fly from the front yard. 

It's hard to top the combination of watching an air show from the beach! We had a great day and love when Daddy gets to join in on our fun family adventures!
