This is the Life

We are slowly but surely getting into a routine around here. There is still so much I need to implement. I have gotten out of the habit of doing my daily devotional, I don't read the Friend or scriptures with the kids regularly, Tanner and I haven't been on a date in forever, and I completely don't exercise. But, we DO play a lot, have been crafting and decorating, and we are loving this life with new baby Ella! The kids are all so sweet with her and we are looking forward to cooler temps, Parker being off track, and more outside time riding bikes, taking walks, and discovering new parks!
In the meantime we make the most of our "home" time with fort building, play dates, swim time, and pretend play!

Fort Building

I couldn't resist the urge to bust out the Halloween decorations!

She's the BEST at holding sweet baby Ella while I brush my teeth and wash my face at night

They like to sleep in...

Never leaves my side. "How about my nap right here?"

I absolutely love that Jack is into wearing hats! He's chapped because Ray hopped in his car...

Guilty

All ready for parent/teacher conference. Parker is super bright and is performing above grade level like always. But he has to sit in his own desk away from everyone because he's too chatty, his desk is always a mess, and he mooches other people's snacks at lunch because I don't buy crappy junk food. We had a talk about all of that and how he needs to continue to try his best at school. Then we watched some videos on how to make yummy kid food and decided to sit down and make home made pretzels! The kids loved it but they made a huge mess! Love making memories like this with them!

Dancing Jack.  He's so silly!

Mom life. Spit up all down my nursing friendly shirt/yoga pants while my pant-less 2 year old runs into the street. Welcome home Tanner!! ha ha

My favorite snuggly baby

Ive got myself some smiley, happy kids!

The oldest and the youngest
Every Sunday, we are attempting to take a family picture. It's my new favorite thing. It will be so neat to look back and see how everyone changes this year.

Jack is quite the messy eater

Parker has been earning money for a Disneyland pass. He washed and vacuumed my car! I think it's cute how he likes to listen to music. I wish they would let him do this at school. It would probably help him to be less chatty/noise makey.
Cute girls and I love Ray's big girl hair do!

This is what happens when I leave them downstairs and go upstairs to eat my lunch in peace. Sleepy kids!

SO CUTE

We traded chairs with Nanny. They look good!

My mom watched the kids while I had my 6 weeks post op exam. I'm feeling better every day and can't wait to get my body strong again. We had a Wendy's picnic for lunch. Jack likes french fries and Rayleigh likes chicken.

There is never a dull moment with 4 kids but I wouldn't have it any other way!!!
