Mission San Juan Capistrano
Parker has the opportunity to earn extra credit in History if he completes a mission project while he's off track. When I was in 4th grade, our only option was to build a model and write a report. But now, the kids can do all kinds of different projects including a 10 minute video! Tanner is all about the video projects so we grabbed a Groupon and headed to San Juan with our camera equipment for an afternoon at the mission. We invited my mom along because she's our favorite and we love spending time with her. We stopped by her house for lunch on the way down and Rayleigh was so cute, bringing dolls over to Ella.
Tanner and Parker took off filming and I stayed close to Rayleigh while my mom and Jack were best buddies. He loves my mom so much! It was sweet. It was a beautiful day and we had fun exploring the mission and learning all about the rich history there.
Before we left, a bride showed up to take pictures and Rayleigh thought she was magic. She just wanted to sit and watch her all day. She is just the cutest thing. Tanner and Parker will have to work hard to complete this project but I know they are going to do an outstanding job!
