Luxury Resort Tour 2020

Today we went on our annual Luxury Resort Tour! It’s my favorite. Everything is so beautiful! It’s a little strange nowadays with mask wearing and social distancing. We are even getting another “stay at home” order. Covid cases are spiking. Ugh.
But our first stop was the Montage and it was exquisite. The view can’t be best. The gingerbread houses left much to be desired but we walked down stairs to the fun lollipop tree and even though there weren’t any treats to enjoy, the whole affair was superb.

Our next stop was the Ritz Carlton- equally as exquisite. The weather today was utter perfection and the ocean was a glittery turquoise. They didn’t display a famous gingerbread house- instead it was a boring sand sculpture. No color. Blah. BUT, can’t complain when you’re at the Ritz! We used the bathroom which is always a treat and stood in awe overlooking the magnificent view.

We drove through Wendy’s and are iconic style in the backyard. It was so fun seeing my parents and spending time with them. They are always a delight! From there, we went to South Coast Plaza to admire the decor there. The 3 story tall Christmas mountain is so cool! We were pleasantly surprised to discover Santa in a store window! We got to say hi to him through the glass and using a microphone, we were able to tell him what we wanted for Christmas. Rayleigh wants a magical necklace that changes her into a mermaid unicorn and a soft robe. Jack wants “something”. And ella wants a unicorn. I treated the kids to some chocolate from Sees. Word to the wise, don’t let each kid pick out their own chocolate. It ended up costing me $60! Yikes!

All in all is was a roaring success and the kids were adorable! We raced home to watch Parker in the first ever MCO Christmas concert. The recorded the songs at the beginning of the year and thankfully Tanner and Parker were both able to participate. But Tanner was out of town for the filming so we didn’t get to see his cute face. But we DID see Parker a few times! The beach scenes were so pretty. The whole program was really moving and truly inspired. We blasted it and loved every single second! It was a shame Tanner had to miss the first show but we hope to make up for us the rest of the weekend. It was touching to receive word (and pictures) from Tanner’s family who tuned in to watch it live. Their support means so much to Tanner!
It was a very festive day and we are filled with all things merry and bright!

Kissy Face!
