Ella's One on One Disneyland Date

It's that time of year again! May is so fun. It's crazy with all of the end of the year activities but luckily this year hasn't been as bad because the girls aren't in dance. But, I love focusing on each child individually and spending a few hours at Disney with just them- buying them a special treat, holding hands (which is hard and causes contention when we are all together because I only have 2 hands) and letting them choose all the rides.

We blasted Disney princess songs on our way to Disneyland and every song was an absolute banger! We sang loud and strong and I knew every word! (Thank you very much). Ella spent a long time in the Disney store picking out her special toy (so we could validate) and settled on this adorable baby Lady from Lady and the Tramp. Lady came on every ride with us and is now her favorite new pet.

We did Pirates and Alice and Tea Cups and she got to ride the special pony on the carrousel. She got cotton candy for her special treat and helped me be brave on the rocket ride.  We did Dumbo and Star Tours and at the end of the night, she was pretty tired. So, we jacked a rejected rental stroller and I pushed her through Downtown Disney. She brought jammies and a pillow and blanket for the car and was all snuggled up on the sleepy drive home.

Ella is my best little friend. She's fun and cute and thoughtful. She wants everyone to be happy and does her best to be a good friend, sister, and daughter. Sometimes she sings and annoys Ray which makes her sing more. But that usually the extent of her shenanigans. She is amazing at pretend play and using her imagination. She can play independently for hours just singing and making up stories in her room with her toys and stuffed animals. She is always willing to try new food and has recently gotten into musicals which I LOVE!

Ella, you are a treasure. I love you more than all of the gold on Pirates. I am so glad you're my daughter and love all of the goodness and light you bring into our lives. I love that we got to spend this one on one time together. Always know how much I love you, my special little princess!
