Bebo's 76th Birthday

Celebrating my Dad's 76th birthday this year was so much fun! We all brought something to contribute to a family BBQ at Jon's house. All the cousins were running around, playing together all night and even Josi was able to come down from Vegas to join us!
We partied hard until the street lights came on. After the party at Jon's, we all ran over to the park where the night games were played a plenty! (We did have one party foul when Tavian was under the trampoline and Savannah jumped which made him smack his face onto the pavement. We think he broke his nose and Karina was beyond frantic.... yikes!)
I love my rad Dad so much and loved having the opportunity to celebrate his life and focus on him for the day! He gives the BEST hugs and is so wise and faithful. He answers every question with total honesty and I've never known him to be wrong about anything.
He loves his family with a fierce passion! He is my rock and I'm so thankful for him!

We always have a great time on Sunday afternoons. Church is fantastic- I love our ward! We eat a yummy dinner, and then we head to the pool to swim and relax together!

We love having the missionaries over on Sunday night's and we will miss Elder Simpson!
Rayleigh and her sense of style... it's unique for sure!!!

On Monday for FHE, Parker and I listened to an amazing devotional given my President Nelson as we assembled snack bags for our 2 weeks of Junior Lifeguards! We will have to make lunches for all of us each and every day so we wanted to be prepared with easy to grab snacks.

I decided to switch to a local dentist which proved to be a literal nightmare when they wouldn't clean my teeth because I refused their $775 laser deep cleaning treatment. Jerks. Rayleigh wouldn't even sit to have the densit look inside her mouth so she had to sit in the corner the entire time (this was after she bolted down the hall and out the front door) Jack and Parker did great! No cavities for anyone! Please don't make me do this again in 6 months.

Rayleigh saw the Snapchat symbol on this Wendy's cup and said, "Hey look! It's the Holy Ghost!"

I also made an apt to see my doctor because my c section wound started bleeding! What?!?! I know. So strange. It's better now. But it was good to see her and have a follow up. My mom watched the kids for me and snapped this cute photo of my girls!

I love when my mom has old pictures out for us to look at! This is my mom with Chet, Cami and Kari at the beach. Circa 1970

And she found these old pictures of my Dad with his Austin Healy! The first one is with him driving, my Grandpa in the passenger seat, and Rick and Stacy (my cousins) in the back.
1968 The year my Dad graduated from BYU and my mom was almost due to have Karina. My Dad dated my mom in that car, had the best time driving around with the top down, and decided to sell in when my brother Jon was born so that the family could get a bigger car. The ultimate "Dad" sacrifice!
Behold! The Pontiac that had more seats for my Dad's growing family!
