Pumpkin Carving

Sunday. FUNday!

We had the opportunity to hear Elder Anderson from the Quorum on the 12 Apostles speak to us at Stake Conference. The entire meeting was dynamite and the kids did sooooo well! We were worried about their behavior knowing they would have to sit still and quiet for 3 hours (we got there an hour early to get a seat). But they did great! I loved the message about redefining your discipleship throughout your life as times and seasons change. Elder Anderson proffered an apostolic blessing on the congregation that we would more valiantly come unto Christ. It was beautiful and uplifting.

After church we (me and Parker) carved pumpkins- something the kids have been begging to do for a long time.

Then we were invited to Jill's for a Come Follow Me lesson. The Bishop gave the lesson on being an example of Christ and it was so fun! The kid loved it and it was such a blessing to share this special lesson together.

When we got home, the kids wanted to see their pumpkins all lit up and we had an impromptu Halloween dance party!
