Super Saturday, Jergensen Party, and the Primary Program!
What a fun weekend! Friday night, Tanner and I had a nice date to Barnes and Nobel. We walked around and looked at books we were interested in. We decided to have a "Couples Book Club" and are going to read a book recommended by Travis called "Crucial Conversations". I'm excited!
On Saturday, I woke up early and went to the church for Super Saturday. I learned some new Instant Pot recipes, painted a craft, and took a painting class taught by Courtney. We had a super yummy breakfast and lunch too! I love this sweet sisterhood!
Tanner and I were on the fence about bringing our kids to the Jergensen's Halloween Party. We wanted to socialize with friends and not have to chase the children. We wanted to eat and mingle and not worry about the kids eating too much sugar. But in the end, we decided to take them and it was a blast! The kids were great! Parker was a hit in his dinosaur costume and was able to stay late and come home with Courtney. Jack and Rayleigh ran around and played and were super happy. Ella stayed right next to me and Tanner and was such a pretty princess! Everyone loves this Halloween tradition and I'm glad we all went together.
Sunday was the primary program! My mom was able to drive up and come to church with us. I wasn't the best and helping Rayleigh and Jack memorize their parts so on the way to church, we practiced over and over and you wouldn't believe how well they did! They both got right up, spoke clearly into the microphone, and spoke their MEMORIZED parts perfectly! I had several people come up to me and tell me how impressed they were! I was a proud moment for sure. They were beaming up on the stand. It was a great Sunday. My mom stayed for dinner and then headed home and we all curled up on the couch and watched a movie together.
A practically perfect weekend!
