Corona Virus: Start of the Quarantine

Guess what? A new virus broke out in China and we are calling it the Corona Virus (0r Covid-19) and it's spreading like a wild fire and the whole world is shut down and everyone ran to the store for toilet paper so there is none left and we aren't allowed to be closer than 6 feet to someone and if there is a group of more than 10 assembled they are in trouble and everyone is freaking out! Ok, well no one is REALLY freaking out but it's been pretty weird. We have been asked to stay at home. No school. No church. No sports (even professional). Celebrities are staying home. People are losing their jobs. Mom's everywhere around the world are suddenly homeschooling. It. Is. Wild.
Parker and I ran to the cell phone repair shop on Saturday to get my phone fixed (glad it was still open) and walked over to Von's to buy Tanner some bacon (which they had!) and the toilet paper aisle was just like every other one- EMPTY. So, we've been snuggling up extra hard and trying to figure out how we are going to navigate this world pandemic.
We were able to bless and pass the sacrament as a family on Sunday. We have stocked up as best we can with food and supplies. We have busted out allll the crafts. But honestly, this quarantine doesn't affect us much. Tanner would disagree as he is still going to work, attempting to implement the CDCs ever changing protocol, keeping his staff sane, and trying NOT to get infected as he goes into the world because THAT would be devastating for business. Plus, he could die and stuff.
Our ministering guy, Brother Torres, asked if we needed anything and we told him we were running low on TP and he dropped some off! I was so relived! What a generous act of kindness!
We've been trying to get out into the fresh air for a little bit each day but that is proving difficult due to all the rain we've been having.
We made leprechaun traps and are working on rainbow jello.
We will survive!

Most of the crafts were done in a day.... oops
