St. Patrick's Day 2020
Are we feeling LUCKY this St. Patrick's Day?
Well, sure!
The kids set their traps last night but the elusive little leprechaun got away! He turned the milk green, used their bathroom, and sent the kids on a treasure hunt to a basket full of goodies hidden in the garage! Tanner followed us over to Krispy Kreme for some festive holiday donuts. And since Krispy Kreme is like the ONLY drive through donut place, it only took an hour! haha We also drove through In n Out for lunch and used some of our library certificates for free cheeseburgers. We saw our friend Jen in front of us in the line and waved from afar. Cuz #corona
Since our garage is ginormous we set up a little hang out area in there and it's been pretty fun. We ding dong ditched some friends with our rainbow jello. We ran to the door decked out in green rocking some River Dance tunes. It was so fun and so good to peek at some of our friends! I made the best corned beef and cabbage for dinner. I found a new recipe to put the meat in the instant pot for 90 minutes. It was yummy but while I was cooking, Ella dumped olive oil all over herself and the couch. Yay. She also got into my closet the other day while I was taking a shower and shattered some light bulbs I have in there. So being quarantined with a toddler is fun!
We DO feel lucky and blessed, though and this was definitely a St. Patrick's Day to remember!
Parker made a legit LEGO trap!
