Rayleigh's 1:1 Date to Disneyland

We met up with the Mias at Disneyland for Rayleigh's 1:1 date. I was so excited to spend this time with my sweet girl. Both Mias have BIG personalities and cute little Rayleigh was so quiet and calm. She made me so proud- she was so kind and thoughtful and generous. She really is the most special girl in the world.

We listened to music and chatted in the car ride there and held hands as we walked around. Jack was so sad when we dropped him off at school but he'll get his turn next. We shared our favorite pasta from Pizza Planet and she chose cotton candy for her treat. We rode the canoes for the first time and ran from Disneyland to California Adventure to ride Incredicoaster together.

Rayleigh is one in a billion. She is compassionate and courageous. She lets nothing stop her and stands up for what she believes in. She is blossoming into a beautiful young lady with poise and grace. She is an expert problem solver and has helped me on countless occasions figure things out. She loves to be creative with art, decorating, organizing, jewelry, nails, make up, and clothes. She is a great sleeper and is very responsible with her school work, piano, and bedtime routine. She loves "wiggly worm" noodles after school for a snack and doesn't have the biggest sweet tooth.

She has many friends at school and is not shy about sharing her faith in Jesus. She loves our new baby chicks and takes such good care of them with her tender ways. She is doing great with gymnastics and dance and is always happy to attend Activity Days with the girls from church. She is smart and determined and is excelling in school.

I know Rayleigh's path will be filled with extraordinary adventures and seemingly insurmountable challenges because Heavenly Father has blessed her with some tremendous, unique capabilities. I look at her perfect face and my eyes well with tears as my heart swells with an immaculate love for her. So many years I waited for her and she was absolutely worth it. I am so happy she's my daughter forever!
