Seaworld! And Parker's First Time Touching a Dolphin!
We couldn't wait to get back to Seaworld! Living in San Diego over the summer was seriously the best. I just love San Diego so much. Plus, there's where our little super baby was made! My Mom and Dad drove to Utah for BYU homecoming (James is being acknowledged with an achievement award and they are staying up at the Cottage). Tanner started working (blahhhh) so we had a whole lonely day to ourselves and jumped on the opportunity to go to Seaworld! We were determined to have Parker FINALLY touch a dolphin. We were in luck because the park was way less crowded than it was over the summer. It was a perfect day and it boded well for dolphin interactions!
Before we left Rayleigh participated in her latest favorite activity: Climbing in a basket.
Close to the top of Parker's "To Do Wish List" was ride the roller coaster, the Manta. He was in luck because there was no line. I waited with the baby while he rode IN THE FRONT. TWICE. To say he was stoked is an understatement.
Waiting for the daredevil...
There he is! Right there in the front!
Turtle Reef! My personal favorite...
Dolphin Point! We got there early and spoke with some of the trainers. We let them know of Parker's hopes and dreams of being a dolphin trainer and how he's even going to be one for Halloween! They made sure he had a good spot and guess what?!?! He finally was able to pet a dolphin! He said it felt like wet rubber. And Rayleigh and I were able to throw a ball out to the dolphins during playtime! In Parker's own words, we were having "THE BEST DAY EVER!!!"
Sooooo happy!
Parker also rode Rip Tide rescue, we checked out the sharks, and took a stroll through the Arctic Zone.
Parker's last request was to ride Journey to Atlantis. Since this was a walk on ride as well he rode it twice while Rayleigh and I watched the aquarium of bat rays.
SeaWorld was all decked out for Halloween! It was so cute! Big old fishy pumpkins and giant fake candy everywhere!
As I was snapping this picture of my cute kiddos someone came up and offered to take one of the 3 of us! So sweet! But then this one turned out candid.....
Rayleigh was over it. But we had a blast! Best day at Seaworld!!!!!!
