Parker's Epic Day at SeaWorld

Yesterday, when we went to Seaworld, Parker brought some pipe cleaner bracelets he'd made to share with the dolphin trainers. They were so touched by his generous gesture that they invited him to help train the dolphins! He was able to get up close and personal with a few of them for about a half an hour!!! To say he was thrilled is an understatement. I don't know how this kid gets so lucky. He is one special little boy!
The trainers were so sweet with him and shared so much information and fun with him! I tried to stand back and let him revel in the glory of it all but they soon invited the baby and me over to participate as well! Rayleigh got to touch and interact with the dolphins too and the trainers were so impressed with how brave she was! They said that most kids around that age cry and freak out when the see the dolphins but no, not my daughter! She was clamoring, trying to get in the tank!!!!
What's really special is that this is a day Parker will remember for the rest of his life. It's not just a cool thing that he got to get up close and personal with a dolphin, he really truly is so interested in them right now. It was the perfect way to solidify his passion for the sea creatures. This is one of those times that, as a mother, you just beam for your kids. Watching them experience moments like this is one of the purest joys you can imagine.
Enthusiastically choosing their bracelets!

Group shot!
Dolphin photo bomb!

So happy!!!!!
*Notice he's wearing an outfit he chose to look specifically like a dolphin trainer....

Rayleigh got in on the action too!

And guess what? One of the female dolphins just gave birth 3 days ago and we were able to see the baby!!! Sooooo cute!
I love all the Halloween decorations! Especially in the shark area!

Not only did Parker get to meet and interact with multiple dolphins, he was able to ride his favorite roller coaster, the Manta, and ride Rip Tide Rescue AND Journey to Atlantis! Since he was the only one on the boat the worker said, "Hey Dude, wanna ride again?" and Parker exclaimed, "Yaaaa!!!!" So, he was able to go twice in a row! ha ha He had the best day.

Thank you dolphins and dolphin trainers of Seaworld for making all my son's dreams come true!!!!!
